Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the AlaGo service (the ala-go.kz website) processes the personal data you give us when you call us or write to us on WhatsApp. By contacting us in either of these ways, you agree to the terms set out below.

Data operator

The operator processing personal data is the owner of the ala-go.kz website — an individual entrepreneur (sole proprietor) providing passenger transport services in the city of Almaty. Business details are provided on request. You can contact the operator by phone at +7 707 510 17 05 or on WhatsApp at the same number.

What data we collect

The website has no forms — we do not request contact details through it. The only data collected automatically are technical visit statistics and the ad click identifier (gclid or yclid: it is stored in the browser for 30 days and passed to analytics when you tap the WhatsApp or call button); more on them below, in the “Cookies and analytics” section. Everything else we receive from you directly, when you call or write to us on WhatsApp:

• your name (how to address you);
• a phone number for getting back to you;
• trip details — destination, date, number of passengers.

We do not request or collect identity documents, payment details or any other sensitive information through the website.

Why we process data

Personal data is used solely to:

• contact you and clarify the details of the trip;
• calculate the price and agree on the terms of the transport;
• provide the service you ordered.

We do not use your data for mass mailings and do not pass it to third parties for advertising or sale.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, which you give by contacting us voluntarily, and is limited to the extent necessary to provide the service.

Transfer of data

WhatsApp conversations are stored in the messenger itself and protected by its end-to-end encryption. We do not make your data publicly available and do not pass it to other organizations, except in cases expressly provided for by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses web analytics services (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica) and Google Ads advertising tags (the Ads tags are loaded through Google Tag Manager). They collect visit statistics — pages viewed, device, referral source — as well as on-page behavior: clicks, scrolling and session recordings (Yandex Metrica Webvisor). The only input field on the website is the destination search on the home page; what you type in it is not saved in session recordings. These services use cookies and their own identifiers; we do not match them with your name or phone number. You can turn off data collection in your browser settings or with an ad blocker.

Route map

The map on the home page loads map tiles and label fonts from OpenFreeMap servers and, when you zoom in on the mountains, terrain elevation data from the open Terrain Tiles dataset on Amazon Web Services servers. If you search for a place that is not on the list of destinations, or mark a point on the map, the place name or the point’s coordinates are sent to the Photon (komoot) and OSRM services to find the place and plot a route by road. Like any website your browser loads data from, these services see your IP address; they do not receive your name, phone number or messages. The map does not set cookies.

Storage and protection

Contact details and conversations are kept no longer than necessary to communicate with you and provide the service, and are protected against unauthorized access. Only the operator has access to them.

Your rights

At any time, you may:

• ask what data we hold about you;
• withdraw your consent to processing;
• request the deletion of your data.
