Meeting at Almaty-1 and Almaty-2 stations
Almaty has two railway stations, and we work with both. Almaty-2 station is the central one: it is closer to the city center and handles most passenger trains. Almaty-1 station is in the northern part of the city and also serves long-distance trains. When you book, just tell us where your train arrives — the driver will come to that very station and wait for you at the exit from your platform.
How the station pickup works
The driver arrives early and meets you with a sign with your name at the platform exit or at an agreed station exit. He will help carry your suitcases and bags to the minibus, stow the luggage in the roomy compartment and take you to your address. We stay in touch on WhatsApp and adjust the pickup time to the actual arrival of the train — if the train is late, the driver will wait for you, with no extra charge for reasonable waiting.
Who a station transfer suits
A minibus pays off especially when there are many people and a lot of luggage. One Toyota Hiace replaces three or four taxis, and the whole group rides together:

Will the driver meet us on the platform or at the exit?
The driver will meet you with a name sign at the exit from your platform and help carry your luggage to the minibus. If it is easier to meet at a particular station exit, we will agree on the spot in advance.
Do you serve both stations — Almaty-1 and Almaty-2?
Yes. We meet trains both at Almaty-1 station (in the north of the city) and at the central Almaty-2 station. Just tell us when you book where your train arrives.
How much is a railway station transfer?

What if the train is late?

Will a large group’s luggage fit?
There is one limit worth knowing in advance. The Toyota Hiace has a separate, roomy luggage compartment, but thirteen passengers means traveling light: if everyone has a large suitcase, we take nine. Tell us the number of people and pieces of luggage — we will tell you before departure whether the group fits in one trip.
