What if there are more than thirteen guests?
That is the case at most Kazakh weddings, and it is no reason to look for another transport company. We have one vehicle — a thirteen-seat Hiace — and it is almost always kept for the newlyweds, the in-laws and the elders, so they are not put on a shared trip with the guests. We take everyone else in two back-to-back trips on the same route — there is time for both between the house, the registry office and the banquet hall, and it works out cheaper. If everyone has to leave at once, we find a partner minibus for your date and tell you right when you book, not on the day of the toi. We quote the amount for the booked hours before departure and do not change it afterwards. A banquet hall outside the city, an early start and a late return are all counted in the same hours — no “wedding” multiplier will appear on the bill.

A wedding motorcade is usually made up of cars, and it falls apart at the very first stop: someone could not find parking, someone took a different road, and at the banquet hall half the guests are late. A minibus solves this with one vehicle — everyone rides together, stops together and arrives together. You can decorate the body with ribbons and flowers, and we will suggest how to attach them; the main thing is that the decorations do not damage the paint. Timing of the wedding day: what it looks like hour by hour
To show how the time is counted, here is a typical toi day in Almaty. We adapt the schedule to your plan, but the order of events is usually like this:
- 09:00 — pickup at the house, gathering the newlyweds and elders
- 10:00 — registry office; the driver waits at the entrance with your things and flowers in the cabin
- 11:30 — photo shoot: Kok-Tobe, Medeu or the embankment; we drive between the spots in the same vehicle
- 15:00 — banquet hall, drop-off at the entrance
- 23:00 — elders and families with children taken back to the meeting point
For reference: 8 hours of paid time is from 80,000 ₸ for the vehicle. A midday break and a separate evening trip are agreed before booking: the schedule above does not mean that the whole time from 09:00 to 23:00 fits into an eight-hour booking. Taking guests back after the wedding
After the banquet, the minibus is kept for those you do not want to send off in a late-night taxi: older relatives, families with sleeping children, guests from other cities. That is up to 13 people per trip, and the drop-off point is a single one, agreed in advance: we do not take everyone home one by one — we have only one vehicle. No one in your party has to stay sober as the “designated driver,” and nobody has to hail a car outside the banquet hall at midnight. Guests who fly in or arrive by train the day before we meet separately — with an airport transfer or a railway station pickup.

How far ahead should we book the minibus for a toi?
In the high season — June to September — Saturdays are worth booking two to four weeks ahead: on those days one toi follows another all over the city. If your date is already set, it is better to book right away: it costs nothing and does not require a prepayment. The rest of the year, three to five days’ notice is usually enough.
How many hours should we book for a wedding?
It depends on your plan for the day. For a kudalyk or an uzatu, three hours is usually enough — the ride there, the ceremony, the ride back. For the “gathering at home — registry office — photo shoot — restaurant” sequence, people book five or six hours. A full day, from the morning gathering to the banquet hall, is eight. The minimum booking is three hours; after that, time is added as it is actually used.
How much does a wedding minibus cost?
