The 13-seat Toyota Hiace takes no other passengers. One person or 13 — the price is the same; we don’t sell individual seats or tickets. More than 13 people — we’ll find a partner minibus for your date; on short routes two runs in a row also work.
Driver, fuel and road included
Our regular driver with 20+ years of experience, fuel, toll sections and pickup in Almaty are all in the quoted price; you don’t pay extra per passenger. National park entrance fees, ski passes and a local off-road vehicle, if your route needs them, are not included.
Round trip
The round trip is one price. The driver waits for your group on site for as long as you said when booking; if you stay longer, you pay only for the extra hours.
Luggage: 13 traveling light, up to 9 with suitcases
Bags and gear go in a separate compartment. If everyone has a large suitcase or a stroller, we take up to 9 people; with skis and snowboards, 9–10. Tell us what you’re bringing when you book.
Payment: cash, Kaspi or invoice
Trips in the city and nearby are paid after the trip. Long intercity trips and trips of several days need a partial prepayment to hold the date, the rest before departure. Companies get an invoice, a contract and closing documents.

Pervomayskie Ponds is a popular waterside recreation area in the Almaty suburbs, an easy full-day outing for a big group or a family. There are several ponds, green banks, gazebos and cafés, boat rental, fishing, and simply space to spread a blanket and grill shashlik. The ponds are only about 25 km away, roughly 40–60 minutes on the road — one of the closest weekend getaways from Almaty, with no need to get up at dawn or spend the whole day on the road.
Entry to the grounds and gazebo rental are paid on site and are not included in the minibus price — the only thing to budget in advance is the minibus itself. You choose the format of the day: we can drop your group off in the morning and pick you up in the evening, or leave the vehicle with the driver on site so you can head home exactly when you feel like it.
Almaty to Pervomayskie Ponds: the road and stops
The recreation area is in the Almaty suburbs (Ili District), north of the city. It is about 25 km away, usually 40–60 minutes on the road: the exact time depends on which part of the city you leave from and on traffic getting out. The road is paved and well known to the driver, so we get you right to the complex without wandering around detours.
There are shops on the way where you can stock up on water, ice, charcoal and food for shashlik if you don’t want to bring everything from home. Tell us which pond or resort you are going to, and the driver will take you right to the entrance, unload your things and agree with you on a pickup time.
A day at Pervomayskie Ponds
The grounds have everything for a relaxed day out of town: water, green banks, gazebos for rent, cafés and playgrounds. Many people come here to fish — the ponds are stocked, so the bite is reliable, and your catch can often be cooked right there. Some rent a boat or a pedal boat, others just sunbathe by the water and have a picnic with a grill. For a similar format with stocked lakes and bigger grounds, there is the 8 Lakes resort on Kamenskoe Plateau.
It works well for an outdoor birthday, a family outing with kids, a get-together with friends or an out-of-town company event — no long drive and no packing the night before. In your own minibus it is easy to bring plenty of food, folding furniture and sports gear, and in the evening nobody has to worry about who drives home.
One minibus to Pervomayskie Ponds or a couple of cars
The ponds are close, so it may seem easier to go in a couple of cars. But then the convoy gets strung out in traffic, part of the group spends the whole day as the sober designated driver, and your things have to be split between trunks. One Hiace gathers everyone in one cabin: on the road you can talk and get into holiday mode instead of watching the other car in the mirror.
